- Maintenance and Alimony: When deserted or during the pendency of the case victim spouse can get maintenance from the other spouse or a lumpsum alimony.
- Judicial Separation: When ill-treated the victim spouse can seek judicial separation from the other spouse through court order.
- Nullity of Marriage: Is a judicial declaration by a court that the marriage is invalid under certain circumstances.
- Child Custody/Visitation Rights: The court will decide the care, maintenance, and control of the child under 18 years of age, the welfare of the child being of paramount importance. The other spouse will have visitation rights.
